What To Expect From An Appointment
New Patient
Perimenopause and Menopause Consult
$500
- 55 minute in-person appointment
- Prior to the appointment Dr McCaffrey will spend 20 to 30 minutes reviewing your record and preparing for the visit.
- The visit will start with a review of your history and listening to your perimenopause and menopause story and your current symptoms.
- Next Dr McCaffrey will teach you about perimenopause and menopause physiology, how changes in physiology cause typical perimenopause and menopause symptoms, and explain the causes of your symptoms.
- Next Dr McCaffrey will give you personalized treatment options.
- Then you will decide your course of treatment and Dr McCaffrey will prescribe your treatment and order any needed tests and referrals.
- Lastly, we will agree on timing of your follow up visit which is commonly in 3 to 4 months.
Follow Up
Perimenopause and Menopause Appointment
$250
- 45 minute in-person appointment
- Review response to prescribed treatment
- Review symptom control and your goals of treatment
- Adjust treatment as needed to symptoms and goals
Other Follow Up
Existing Clients
Free
- In between appointments Dr McCaffrey will answer your ongoing questions
- via the patient portal
- Hormones can be adjusted in between appointments via the patient portal
- Problem visits can be scheduled as needed
